Behind the Charmed

My charmed series of pendants is probley my most popular series of all.   I made the very first one years ago it was a dragonfly, to be honest I don't really remember why or how the idea came about.  But, people loved them from the start.  Over the years I have come to realized that everyone seems to have an animal that they feel some connection to..... whether it be a good luck charm (ladybugs anyone), totem animal or maybe just a favourite animal..... or that they collect.  I have been asked for many different ones over the years, and slowly have built up the series.  This year have plans to add some new ones as well...... lizard, turtle, penguin maybe even a puffin.  For me I always loved Otters when I was a kid.  As an adult humming birds seem to call out to me.   What's your animal?

Here is an interesting link with the symbolism of different animals. http://www.windlegends.org/animals.html
